Wildcats win upset over Indian Hill
The Wildcats returned home this evening to take on the undefeated Indian Hill Braves. The first quarter sported a strong showing by both defenses as neither team moved the ball well. Darnell Smith picked off an Indian Hill pass, and the Indian Hill defense countered with a fumble recovery on the very next play.

The Wildcats started off the scoring in the second quarter. Kellen Campbell's 40 yd. run set up a Nick Phile 1 yd. TD on the QB sneak. The extra point by Chris Horwath gave the Wildcats a 7-0 lead.

The Braves followed up quickly on a QB Bootleg by John Penn. The XP by Grady Rogers was good to tie the game at 7-7 going into halftime.

Finneytown broke the deadlock late in the 3rd Quarter after a fumble recovery. The Wildcats put together a long, sustained drive on the running of Kellen Campbell. The drive finally stalled on the 2 yd. line, and the Wildcats settled for a FG by Chris Horwath to give them a 10-7 lead.

The Braves of Indian Hill appeared to bring an end to the Wildcats hope after Mike Sweeney ran back a 60 yd. reverse on a punt return for the touchdown. Indian Hill missed the extra point. With 7:31 to go in the game, the Wildcats were down by a field goal. 13-10.

Undaunted, the Wildcats drove the length of the field, with Kellen Campbell scoring the 16 yd. touchdown on a sweep around the left end. The extra point by Chris Horwath was good, to give the Wildcats a 17-13 lead.

The Braves started off a nice drive, but stalled at the 50 yard line due to the 'swarming defense' of the Wildcats.

Final Score: Finneytown 17 Indian Hill 13
