Welcome back! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing holiday! J We have some exciting events and learning opportunities coming up. On Tuesday, January 16th, we will be heading down to the Cincinnati Observatory! This evening trip will give the students an opportunity to look through the oldest working telescope. We hope it will be a clear night so we can all see the planets and stars we have been studying. More information will be coming home about the trip. IMPORTANT DATES!! Monday, January 15th: NO SCHOOL - Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tuesday, January 16th: Cincinnati Observatory Trip - 6:30 - 8:45 pm Friday, January 19th: Last day of second quarter (last day for reading conferences!) Monday, January 29th: Educational reports go home! J
UPCOMING EVENTS AND INFORMATION We will soon be building our playground equipment for geometry! Please send in any rinsed recycling to help with the project. Ask your child what they have learned about their heart and their blood! We will soon be starting to learn about the six simple machines! This unit will end with the creation of inventions, which will be shown at our Second Annual Invention Convention!
