THE FINNEYTOWN WRESTLETTES
The Finneytown Wrestlettes were founded in 1967, the second year the Wildcats had a wrestling team and the first such organization in the city. The squad was not created to be a chearleading team but instead to be skilled statisticians and assume the vital role of official scorers and timers. They have done this so well over the years they are often over looked. It isn't until a match is disrupted, a score wrongly entered or a clock is forgotten that their importance is noticed. These young women perform their respective jobs professionally and pleasantly. In addition, they provide statistic support to the team and are the unofficial spirit raisers. This year's group is made up of Middle School and High School girls. Their sponsor is a alumni, a former Wrestlette and wife of a former wrestler and now coach, Tina Price. If you get a chance please give them the only payment they hope for, a big THANK YOU for a job well done.
