PACK 390 SCOUTS SELL LOTS OF POPCORN

Thank you everyone for coming to Kroger's on Saturday to sell popcorn and benefit our Pack. We did awesome, and it is fun to watch our Scouts use their selling ability and people skills! Here are the results of the sales:

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES FOR PACK 390

September 14, 7-8pm Northminster Presbyterian Church -- School Night Round Up-ALL scouts (new, old , returning...everybody) need to attend to fill out paperwork and pay for the year. If you are a returning Scout and can't make it, please let me know ASAP so that we can make other arrangements. Fees: New Scouts $50 Returning Scouts $45 This covers insurance, annual dues, Boy's Life and all badges and rank advancement awards. September 19, 7-8pm Northminster Presbyterian Church New Parent Orientation. This is primarily for parents of NEW Scouts. Returning Parents are welcome as well. Dens are encouraged to have their first den meeting during this time. Leaders should plan on attending this meeting if they are not having a Den meeting. If you are going to have a Den Meeting, please plan on taking 10-25 minutes to stop in and say hello. September 28, 5:30 NMPC Homecoming Parade. FULL UNIFORM IS REQUIRED unless you are a new Scout and do not have one yet (see below). I encourage you to make arrangements to have a car pool waiting at the High School to take scouts back to Northminster. In the past, dens have made arrangements to meet parents in the old Kroger parking lot to avoid confusion. WE NEED DRIVERS AND TRUCKS OR TRAILERS. If you have access to a safe vehicle that the boys can ride on, please let me know ASAP. If we do not have enough vehicles, the youngest Scouts will get first preference at riding and the older boys will have to walk. (this may not be such a bad thing as they will definitely be tired!) Bring a bag of candy to share with those along the parade route! October 17 Pack Meeting ROCKETS ARE BACK!!!!! Location TBD. As in the past, the Pack will provide the launchers and very limited supplies. Please bring your own rocket, engines and ignitors (they all come in the kit and can be purchased separately). More to come on this! Last year the boys were able to get multiple launches if they had enough extra engines. It would be really great to have somebody to take pictures if possible. POPCORN SALE-I will know more about this soon. Mike and Joan Gordon have graciusly agreed to be the popcorn Kernals!!!! YEAH!!!! Please be sure to thank them when you see them. FULL UNIFORM: For Pack 390 this includes the following: Cub Scout uniform shirt with required patches (Tigers, Bears, Wolves -- dark blue, WEBELOS [^]are able to wear either dark blue or tan shirt as longas they have the proper patches) Appropriate Neckerchief for rank of Scout i.e.: Tiger, Bear etc. You can also have the general Yellow Cub Scout Neckerchief. Neckerchief slide Appropriate rank awards attached to uniform in proper places Leaders should have a uniform shirt as well-neckerchief is optional All else is optional: hats, belts, pants etc. Happy Scouting to all!!! Official Scouts Sign Up Date

We will hold an official night for Scouts sign-up at Northminster Presbyterian Church, September 14 at 7pm. I hope to see you all there!

Back to School celebrations

There will be Scout information tables at the Back to School celebrations for Brent and Cottonwood.
