The Future of The World Is Nuts!(TM)

Saturday, January 26, 2008

Folks on the farm are spending a pretty high proportion of their time keeping warm at the moment, but we are all back home and catching up. Here in Cleveland it's cold too, but as a graduate student in the city the costs of staying warm are a bit less direct.

The 2007 crop of hazelnuts for eating is sold out. We do still have a good supply of chestnuts available; so you still have time to order some for making hearty winter chowders!

Plant orders are picking up, in preparation for the 2008 planting season. Our availability for both hazel and chestnut standard tubelings is excellent this season. We haven't yet determined our inventory of bare-root dormant tubelings, but it is usually quite limited, so if you want some it'd be a good idea to place your order now.
